About the Show

Innocence twists into vengeance on the cobblestone streets of 19th century London. Come along on a sophisticated, macabre, and uncompromising tale as Benjamin Barker, a barber, becomes Sweeney Todd, the demon butcher, and his landlady, the local pie proprietress, goes from making The Worst Pies in London to creating a culinary crime described only as God that's Good. This barbarous ode to vengeance accomplishes the rare task of offering intense drama, darkly side-splitting humour and a ripping musical score.

Rehearsals

The first read of the show (with the cast, band optional but highly encouraged to attend) is 1-5 PM on Sunday Dec 15. That evening from 6-9 the band will have a first read of the show. Rehearsals will resume in January and will occur mostly on Sunday evenings, with an occasional Friday evening. The final schedule will be determined the band once all parts are covered.

Rehearsals will be held primarily at FRC's new space, located at 1-4619 6 St NE.

PLEASE NOTE: For the week prior to opening (i.e. beginning Sunday May 11th), please expect a rehearsal or other activity on each day.
